Welcome to the world of enduro racing—you're going to love it! Here are some tips:
Gear: Don’t forget essentials like a hydration pack, a good-quality helmet, gloves, and sturdy boots. A basic tool kit and a tire repair kit are lifesavers. Carry some energy snacks too. Pacing: Start slower than you think you need to—enduro is as much about endurance as it is about speed. Ride at a steady pace and save energy for technical sections. Mechanical issues: Learn how to quickly fix a flat tire and adjust your chain tension. Carry a multi-tool, spare tubes, and a small hand pump. If something breaks, don’t panic; focus on temporary fixes to keep moving. On race day, check your tire pressure, fuel level, and chain tension before the start. And most importantly—have fun and enjoy the ride! Good luck, and let us know how it goes! ragdoll hit

Tips for Preparing for My First Enduro Race 18/11/2024 08:49 GMT
Hi everyone,
I’m new to the enduro community and excited (but a little nervous) about participating in my first enduro race next month. I’ve been riding for a while, but this will be my first time competing in an organized event.
I’m looking for advice on how to prepare—both for myself and my bike. Specifically:
What kind of gear should I absolutely not forget to bring? Any tips for pacing myself during the race? How do you handle unexpected mechanical issues on the trail? Also, any recommendations for pre-race rituals or things to check on race day would be amazing. I’m riding a KTM 250, if that helps.
Thanks in advance for your help—this forum has already been a great resource as I’ve been getting into enduro!
